Looking for a qualified candidate to join Romans Precision Irrigation as an outside sales representative. Romans Precision Irrigation is a growing company that sells irrigation systems and parts around Western Idaho and Eastern Oregon. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Travels to customer location to present company products, services, and pricing information in a professional manner
- Prepares and presents quotes to sales management for review and delivery of quotes to customers
- Maintains appropriate records of on-going projects, leads, and delivered quotes.
- Communicates to customers any changes to projects in a professional manner
- Provides support to project manager, accounting, and procurement staff regarding their projects
- Receives and resolves customer complaints and problems in a timely manner in cooperation with management
- Maintains accurate records for vehicle miles and keeps vehicle clean.
- Performs other related duties as needed
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to engage customers in conversations related to products and purchases, and the ability to develop business relationships with new customers
- Ability to influence through knowledge and expertise
- Maintains confidentiality and uses discretion with business information
- Ability to effectively present information and responds to questions in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to deal with problems involving ongoing projects and fix problems efficiently
- Three to five years of experience in sales, irrigation and/or water well experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
