We are currently recruiting for the position of Inventory Manager.
The tasks and responsibilities required of an Inventory Manager are outlined below:
- Maintains positive and service-oriented work relationships with our customers and internal operational business partners; works closely with key customer point of contact to resolve inventory and product control issues.
- Recognized as the inventory and related systems/process expert in managing product through the warehouse.
- Capable of performing the duties of all subordinate positions.
- Analyze and control expenditures of the department to conform to budgetary requirements.
- Provide performance feedback and demonstrates coaching behavior on a regular basis to each team member; write and administer annual performance reviews; provide guidance through coaching behaviors, training, discipline, and positive recognition to develop and improve performance.
- Provide guidance and general support in resolving and researching inventory discrepancies.
- Establish work procedures and processes that support company and departmental standards, procedures, and strategic directives.
- Collects, tracks, and organizes data to provide performance feedback to the operation; responsible for suggesting methods to improve area operations, efficiency and service to our customers.
- Provide continual evaluation of processes and procedures to meet and/or exceed
- inventory requirements, champion continuous improvement activities within the department.
- Ensure employees are performing all duties in a safe, clean, and organized manner (work area, equipment, PPE).
- Participates in special projects and assignments as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 1-3 years supervisory/management experience in an inventory related role.
- Intimate knowledge of Shipping/Receiving, Warehouse, Inventory and Material Handling operations, methods, and practices.
- Leadership: previously demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
- Strong computer skills related to the use of Microsoft Office products, Warehouse and Inventory Management systems and Productivity Tracking Software.
- Strong communication skills (written and oral) along with a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
- Ability to operate and train employees on all equipment associated within a warehousing environment (forklift, deep reach, VNA, walkie, and RF scanner).
