Responsibilities
- Incident Response: Support the IT security team in responding to and investigating security incidents, analyzing logs, and performing root cause analysis.
- Security Audits: Participate in regular security audits and assessments, ensuring compliance with company security policies and industry regulations.
- Security Monitoring: Help monitor network and system traffic for unusual activity using various security tools and dashboards.
- Testing Support: Assist in performing security assessments to identify potential improvements in the company’s systems.
- Tool Evaluation: Assist in evaluating and implementing new security tools and technologies to enhance the company's security posture.
- Research and Analysis: Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices, and assist in implementing new approaches to enhance security.
- Learning Experience: Hands-on experience in IT security in a dynamic, real-world setting.
- Mentorship: Work closely with experienced IT security professionals who will provide guidance and support.

- Education: Rising Senior pursing a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with security protocols, firewalls, encryption, network security, and cybersecurity tools. Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and networking concepts is a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate analysis and documentation of security-related activities.
