Job Purpose
The Regional Manager is responsible for the safe, efficient, and profitable daily operation of the West Texas region. Responsibilities will include overseeing sales, rentals, parts and service. This position will manage the Branch Managers in the Region, and will directly report to the President.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed, both operational and safety
- Develop/execute short term and long term regional strategy for sales and product support to ensure profitable long term growth
- Grow and maintain acceptable market share levels to meet our manufacturers goals
- Develop and maintain relationships with the region’s major customers
- Strategize and participate in large deals with major customers to ensure successful results
- Monitor accounts in collaboration with credit department
- Evaluate, coach and develop employees for success
- Develop strong people and customer focused culture, uniting the branches within the region
- Meet or exceed designated budget
- Review monthly financials to meet or exceed budget goals and address sales, profit and expense shortfalls
- Assist in marketing strategies
- Get involved in regional industry associations
- All other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
- Outstanding communication and people skills
- In depth knowledge of dealership business functions (sales, rentals, parts, service, finance, credit)
- Familiarity with MS Office, various business software CRM
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or study preferred
- 3-5 years of proven experience in managing equipment dealer operations

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be alert and is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Working Conditions and Additional Requirements
This job operates in an office environment. Office hours are from 8:00am to 5:00pm with occasional needs outside standard business hours to accommodate meetings, training and projects. Frequent travel may be required. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
