Job Purpose
ROMCO is currently seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to join the team supporting the Lubbock, TX location (formerly Bee Equipment Sales).
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality, ensuring correct quantities and proper documentation.
- Stock parts in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
- Pick, pack, and distribute parts for customer orders, service technicians, and internal departments.
- Process and document all shipping and receiving transactions in the inventory system.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse, following safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Assist in inventory cycle counts and audits to ensure accuracy.
- Handle customer inquiries and assist with will-call or counter pickups as needed.
- Work collaboratively with team members to fulfill orders and support dealership operations.
- All other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements
- Ability to operate forklifts (certification a plus)
- Basic computer skills with experience using inventory management systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work in fast-paced environments
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience preferred, especially in an automotive or heavy equipment environment.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be alert and is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds long distances (more than 20 feet). Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.. Working Conditions and Additional Requirements
This job operates in a warehouse environment. Operational hours could be anywhere from 7:00am to 6:00pm with occasional needs outside standard business hours to accommodate meetings, training and projects. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
