Elementary School Principal
The Rome City School District is seeking a dedicated, visionary, and strong instructional leader to serve as Principal at John Joy Elementary School. Responsibilities: The Elementary School Principal is responsible for the organization and administration of all building operations, as well as the supervision of staff and activities. Key duties include:
- Serving as the instructional leader, guiding staff to achieve excellence in teaching and learning.
- Leading the school in alignment with district policies.
- Developing and implementing an educational program responsive to student needs.
- Promoting an environment that supports academic, social, and emotional growth for all students.
Certification Requirement: Candidates must possess a valid New York State School Building Leader (SBL) certification, or hold SAS or SDA certification.
