Rome Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for our SJH Cardiology team. The Medical Assistant will perform administrative duties under the direction of the physician or other health care provider which include and are not limited to the following :
- Organize and maintain medical records and equipment.
- Documenting information within patient medical records.
- Conduct pre-visit planning by reviewing and updating patient charts prior to appointment.
- Assist providers and nurses with medical and office procedures including blood draws, EKGs, minor procedures, and rooming of patients within the scope of practice.
Qualifications : High School Diploma
Current BLS is preferred
1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a health care environment.
