Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Change bed linens and towels, ensuring all items are fresh and clean.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and snacks in guest rooms.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas of the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries in a friendly manner.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow cleaning protocols effectively.
- Mechanical knowledge related to facilities maintenance is a plus.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and electrical systems is beneficial.
- Proficiency in using tools such as an ohmmeter for basic troubleshooting tasks is desirable.
- Skills in residential painting or minor repairs can be advantageous.
- Leadership qualities to assist in training new staff members when necessary.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for equipment maintenance is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards guests and team members.
