The Virtual Nurse Program Lead spearheads the development, implementation, and ongoing management of our virtual nursing program. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for leveraging technology to enhance patient care. The ideal candidate will oversee a team of virtual nurses, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and ensure the program meets high standards of care, compliance, and operational efficiency
Additional responsibilities are but not limited to the following:
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the virtual nursing program.
Establish policies, procedures, and best practices for virtual nursing workflows.
Monitor program performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
Recruit, train, and mentor virtual nurses, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Provide ongoing professional development opportunities for the virtual nursing team.
Conduct performance evaluations and support team members in achieving their professional goals
Oversee virtual nursing interactions, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical protocols.
Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Education: Active NYS RN license, BSN preferred or in the process of obtaining BSN.
Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience.
Salary : $84,760 - $107,640
