What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Supervisor - Residential Healthcare Facility - 2 pm -10 pm position at Rome Memorial Hospital?
Rome Health is currently seeking a Nurse Supervisor to coordinate and supervise the delivery of resident care on his/her unit over 24 hour period to ensure that high quality nursing care is delivered in an efficient and effective manner, in accordance with standards developed by the State Nurse Practice Act, Code of Ethics for Nurses, ANA Standards of Care and the philosophy, policies and procedures of the resident care activities, unit operation and staff function. Establishes goals and direction for the unit(s) and ensures that nursing goals and direction compliment the facilities mission statement. Is a member of the Administrative Team who is able to delegate responsibility.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, Basic Life Support required within 3 months of hire; BS in related field preferred. Education and experience sufficient to meet Rome Memorial Hospital requirements for area of specialty.
LICENSES: Current Registered Nurse License in New York State
EXPERIENCE: Five years progressive nursing experience. Minimal of one year experience in Long Term Care and supervisory/Charge Nurse experience.
