Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and managing pest issues in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pest control methods, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and potential risks.
- Develop and implement effective pest management plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Apply pesticides and other treatments safely and effectively, following all safety protocols.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery as needed for pest control tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and educating them on pest prevention strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including treatment applications and follow-up visits.
- Drive to various job sites efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members on larger projects or complex pest issues as necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of sales techniques to effectively communicate services offered is a plus.
- Familiarity with lawn care, landscaping, or farming practices is advantageous.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and team members.
