What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Romeo RIM, Inc.?
Job Responsibilities:
- Previous maintenance and/or mechanical experience preferred. Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, robots, plc's, and plumbing/pipefitting are a plus. We will train the right entry-level person who displays mechanical appitiude who is willing to learn and grow.
-Perform routine maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and repairing equipment and machinery.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal functioning of equipment.
- Inspect and test machinery and equipment to identify any potential issues or malfunctions.
- Collaborate with other team members to diagnose and resolve maintenance problems.
- Fabricate and install parts as needed to repair or improve equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician leader or similar role in an industrial setting. We will train the right entry-level person who displays mechanical appitiude who is willing to learn and grow.
- Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments for accurate repairs.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience working with high voltage systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Candidates must be flexible in shift assignments and willing to work overtime, including weekends. Ability to lead a team and work independently or as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
