Job Overview
Rommel Fence is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Specialist, full-time or part-time, to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and experience with financial software, ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes. The full time role is essential in supporting various HR functions, including processing weekly payroll, recruitment, employee relations and compliance with company policies. The part time position's primary role will be processing payroll in SAGE Contractor 100 by Wednesday's.
Responsibilities
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, and setting up interviews for management.
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy through effective data entry practices.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation and issuance of company resources are completed timely.
- Utilize Employee Navigator and SAGE systems for managing employee information and benefits administration.
- Familiar with monitoring phone app time clock system to maintain hours on projects and tasks.
- Provide clerical support and maintaining confidential records.
Skills
- Proficiency in data entry with a strong attention to detail.
- Experience with financial software and technical accounting principles.
- Familiarity with NYS and Federal Prevailing Wage is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
