Major Responsibilities
The major responsibilities for this position include:
* Ensuring all repairs are completed in a timely manner and that all inventory required is accounted for properly through the appropriate software systems.
* Contacting the customers to keep them informed with the status of their unit and upon completion.
* Ensuring all charges for repairs are properly documented and collected through POS or through STIHL warranty reimbursement.
* Increasing Revenue for the category
* Actively sell units on the sales floor of the store whenever possible.
* Cold Call professional customers.
* Build relationships with existing customers through prompt, professional service.
* Maintain inventory accuracy reporting any inconsistencies to the store management team.
* Ensure shop area is clean and safe at all times.
* Provide product demonstrations and startups for customers and employees.
* Follow accepted safety practices while servicing all units at all times.
* Assemble all incoming units for sale.
Minimum Requirements
The minimum requirements for this position include:
* Education/Training: High School degree, some college preferred. Possess a vast knowledge of Outdoor Power Equipment related products along with a willingness to learn
* Must have current Stihl Silver Level Certification and be willing to achieve Gold Level Certification within 12 months.
* Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years experience
* Skills/Knowledge: Strong leadership and analytical skills
* Excellent customer service skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations
* Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
* Ability to handle multiple projects and task with a high attention to detail
* Knowledge of retail computer systems, MS Word and Excel a plus.
* Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business
Physical Requirements
The minimum physical requirements for this position include:
* Ability to stand for an extended period of time
* Move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which entails lifting and perform all functions as set forth
* Assist customers with heavier items -- Must be able to lift and carry up to 60lbs as a part of regular duties. Must be able occasionally, with assistance, lift up to 80lbs. Rommel's Ace does provide dollies, pallet jacks, merchandise carts and forklifts to be used as necessary in the completion of these duties
* Job responsibilities may change based on the needs of the business.
