Back Creek is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Grounds Crew Member to join our team! In this position, you'll be spending your day on this course ensuring that the landscape is healthy and captures the natural charm of Middletown, Delaware.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Precise mowing – greens, tee boxes, fairways, rough, and around clubhouse.
- Edging, raking, and other duties including sand trap maintenance.
- Pulling weeds, trimming trees & shrubs, mulching beds throughout the course and clubhouse.
- Grounds cleanup on course and around clubhouse, including limbs, sticks, trash, etc.
- Assist in cleanup and maintenance of equipment.
- Make repairs to irrigation system as needed and learn operation of system.
- Change cups and tee markers.
- Trims trees, prunes shrubbery, and cultivates shrubs and flowers.
- Assist in project work to including but not limited to: construction of greens, tees, and fairways; prepare soil base; lay sod and seed tees, greens and fairways
- Ability to safely and properly operate trucks and motorized equipment
- Perform other duties as directed by his/her supervisor
QUALIFCATIONS
- High School Graduate or GED preferred
- Must be available to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift 70 lbs
- Requires stooping, kneeling, crawling, bending, turning, and reaching
- Must be able to drive a mechanical vehicle
