What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Ron Jon Surf Shop?
Ron Jon Surf Shop is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our Visual Merchandising team. This position provides administrative support to the Visual Merchandising Director and Visual Assistant.
This is an hourly, in office, administrative position. This position is 40 hours per week, Monday- Friday, from 7am- 4pm. Pay rate commensurate with experience. Benefits include: Paid time off, Health insurance/ medical and dental, 401(k) plan, Educational assistance and Associate discounts.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Reorder/Order stock hardware for existing stores (acrylic, perimeter hardware, basic supplies)
- Create hardware lists for new stores
- Maintain Vendor Fixture Lists for all locations- (acquisitions, disposals, costs)
- Maintain fixture storage list
- Maintain physical space for fixture storage (includes lifting, pulling, sorting, packing)
- Monitor stockroom goods processing. Check freight logs and ensure we are up to date.
- Monitor color/size reports by store to ensure we are staying in stock of goods between deliveries.
- Develop spreadsheets and documents as needed for Director of Visual Merchandising
- Maintain planograms for stores using Adobe Illustrator
- Signage: Order and maintain all vendor and Ron Jon display signage in stores (lightboxes, foam core images, etc). Coordinate with Marketing to order all In Store Sales List signage and other POP signage needed for stores.
Require Skills/ Duties:
- Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Learn and use company’s proprietary computer inventory system (Saleslink).
- Must be highly organized and able to multi-task.
- Must have strong written communication, large amount of email communication.
- Must have high cognitive abilities.
- Must be able to analyze large amounts of information from different sources and organize that information into meaningful output.
- Must be efficient and expedient.
- Must know or learn Adobe Illustrator
