Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying technical drawings and schematics using various CAD software. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and project managers to ensure accurate representation of designs.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D models using CAD software such as Revit, Sketchup, AutoCAD, and Carlson.
- Draft and revise engineering drawings, schematics, and layouts according to project specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to interpret concepts and translate them into technical drawings.
- Ensure all designs meet industry standards and project requirements.
- Conduct quality checks on drawings to identify discrepancies or errors.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including specifications and reports.
- Maintain organized records of all design files and revisions.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 Years of Design Experience in an Architecture/Engineering Office
- Proficiency in at least one of the following CAD software: Revit, Sketchup, Civil 3D, Carlson, or similar tools is essential.
- Experience in Architecture, Civil Design, or Surveying Drafting Preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
