Construction Inspector

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Construction Inspector to join our team. The duties of this job will include working in the field observing construction operation to assure that projects are constructed per the established plans and specifications. These duties include but are not limited to: performing compacting testing, field concrete testing, inspection of reinforcement placement, and inspection of wood framing.

All applicants must have the following qualifications/abilities:

• Minimum of 1 Year Construction Inspection Experience
• Ability to read and interprit Civil, Structural, and Architectual Plans
• The ability to work outside for extended periods of time in all weather conditions typical to Western Kentucky.
• Each applicant must have reliable transportation to and from work. Any travel performed once on the job will be in a company provided fleet vehicle.
• All applicants must be prepared to report to work in a timely manner. Typical work hours are between 7AM and 4PM Monday through Friday. Extended hours and weekend work are possible periodically but typically infrequent.
• Each applicant must hold a current drivers license, pass a pre-employment drug screening, and pre-employment background check.
• Must be computer literate with the ability to operate programs within the Microsoft Office Suite.

The following skills/qualifications are desired, but not required, in any applicant:

• Current or Prior American Concrete Institute Certification
• Current or Prior Certified Welding Inspectors Certification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
