The House Attendant plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming, clean, and comfortable environment for families, guests, visitors, volunteers and teammates. You ensure that guest rooms, program spaces, and common areas are cleaned regularly and free of safety hazards. House Attendants clean and turn guest rooms in a timely and efficient manner, as well as ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of shared living spaces, public restrooms, and storage areas.

What You’ll Do To Drive Success and Get Us To Where We’re Going
So we can Serve More Families, Better, you will
- Clean guest rooms after a family checks out, following standard processes to ensure room readiness
- Clean common areas, public restrooms, and laundry rooms
- Clean offices, lobby, entrances, conference rooms, and other spaces
- Clean kitchen and dining areas
- Continually inspect all areas for cleanliness
- Report any problems requiring maintenance or attention to management
- Ensure stock of necessary cleaning supplies, linens, laundry supplies, and toiletries are maintained and notify management when supplies are low to be reordered
- Check email each shift, complete checklist of work for the day, and review house updates and notes

- Work with other departments and teammates within RMHCCI to accomplish tasks
- To ensure collaboration within RMHCCI, monitor and respond to emails at the beginning and end of every shift.

- Share the mission of RMHCCI to contractors and everyone you encounter as much as possible

- The drive to look for things to do when you’ve completed all your tasks
- The ability to complete the physical tasks required for the job, like changing bed linens, using cleaning products, mopping, vacuuming, etc . You will need to lift 35 pounds
- The ability to “read” and interpret the verbal and nonverbal cues—our families are navigating highly stressful journeys and we all need to support them respectfully.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm in hectic situations

What You’ll Get From Us
- Hourly wage above minimum wage--$20.00 per hour
- Accrued PTO—1 hour for every 40 hours worked
- RMHCCI is open 24/7/365, so you will receive time-and-a-half on recognized holidays
