Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Conduct budgeting and forecasting activities to support business planning.
- Perform accrual accounting to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Analyze cash flow and provide insights for improvement.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Utilize financial software for reporting and data analysis.
- Advise clients on financial concepts, including tax implications and compliance.
- Assist in payroll processing and ensure timely payments.
- Stay updated on LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations as applicable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is required.
- Proven experience in accounting roles with a focus on financial statement preparation.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, budgeting, accrual accounting, and cash flow analysis.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with LIHTC regulations is a plus but not mandatory.
