The Business Coordinator’s primary purpose is to support the efforts of the Chief People and Business Officer (CPBO) through the efficient organization and execution of business operations in a professional, service-oriented environment who will actively work to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and filing obligations. Compensation
The salary range for this position is $18-20 per hour and is in line within our RMHC regional salary bands for this role. This position earns overtime and holiday pay at the rate of 1.5 times regular rate of pay for hours worked. Benefits for this position represent an additional 25% value to the overall compensation package. Benefits include:

Duties and Responsibilities
Finance & Filings
- Perform light bookkeeping duties in accordance with the IRS, KY Department of Revenue, GAAP, Global RMHC, and the rules and regulations for 501(c)3 organizations.
- Code and process Accounts Payable.
- Prepare annual 1099 filings, maintaining appropriate documentation throughout the year.
- Import donor deposit data from CRM/SAS fundraising platforms into accounting platform.
- Provide annual budget support to Leadership Team members by creating, updating, and disseminating budget template quarterly, building towards budget approval in Q4.
- Support Kentucky Charitable Gaming efforts by obtaining proper licensing, complying with state regulations, and filing the annual financial report.
- Maintain annual required filings for local, state, and federal agencies.
Business Administration
- Assist CPBO in matters related to the Business and Finance Committee. Prepare meeting agenda and reports, ensuring dissemination at least three business days prior to the meetings, attend meetings, taking and distributing minutes, onboard and steward new committee members.
- Assist the Leadership Team as required or directed to organize meeting preparations, coordinate travel plans (including registration, lodging, and transportation), and additional administrative duties as needed.
- Assist CPBO with HR related activities including online job postings, orientation coordination, employee recognition, and bi-weekly payroll processing.
- Maintain office equipment (copier, phones, vending, shipping, etc) and proactively manage business and IT vendor relationships to minimize disruption in operations.
- Maintain a professional and orderly appearance of the Business Center, ordering, organizing, and maintaining all office supplies.
- Maintain board/committee portal and other administrative platforms, providing training and support as requested or required, proactively updating digital and analogue resources as information changes.
- Collect mail from the post office no fewer than two (2) times per week, utilizing the RMHC vehicle. Distribute mail to appropriate business centers.
- Organize and maintain records for reconciliations, audits, and general hard copy (digital or analogue) history per RMHC retention policies. Organize and retain permanent business records maintained in the digital cloud with hardcopy support stored locally. Proactively manage sensitive data and practice safe record keeping
- Other duties as assigned.

- Experience in an administrative role, including document management and customer service, with increasing levels of responsibility.
- High, demonstrable competency within Microsoft Office suite applications and the proven ability to learn and leverage new technology quickly.

The employee must be able to sit for long periods of time and be able to manipulate tools normally associated with a business office.
