Job Summary
The Sales Associate position is listed under our sister-company, RHA Energy Partners LLC. This position is responsible for the outside sales and business development of the company’s services and engineered solutions to both new and existing clients. The Sales Associate is expected to identify new leads, engage with both new leads and existing clients, qualify project opportunities, identify clients’ key decision makers and decision-making priorities, assist in preparation of proposals, negotiate and successfully convert qualified opportunities to fully executed implementation contracts. The Sales Associate is expected to successfully navigate the entire sales cycle, from new lead generation, lead qualification, proposal generation, negotiation, and contract execution.
The Sales Associate will be supported by upper management and the company’s technical engineering staff to assist in the technical evaluation of project opportunities, technical scope development, and cost estimating.
As the core of RHA Energy Partners energy solutions and services involve technical and engineered solutions, the Sales Associate should be comfortable with learning and developing a basic proficiency with such technical solutions, facility equipment or systems (e.g. LED lighting, air-conditioning, solar PV systems) and related engineered solutions.
Responsibilities
- Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
- Communicates with clients and leads to identify and understand the client’s business model, product or service needs; and can identify and propose RHA Energy Partners’ services to meet those needs.
- Demonstrates the business-case of RHA Energy Partners’ services or solutions to clients based on client needs.
- Ensures client satisfaction through ongoing communication and client relationship management.
- Maintains communication with existing and previous clients, alerting them of new services or solutions that may be of interest.
- Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, emails, proposals, orders, sales, win/loss business, and any client or vendor relationship issues.
- Utilize company’s client relationship management (CRM) SalesForce software platform to document and track sales activities.
- Prepare and provide periodic sales forecasts.
- Provides support, input, feedback and development of company’s targeted sales campaigns or marketing efforts with management and marketing team.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint), Adobe, or related software.
- Familiarity or proficiency with SalesForce or other related CRM software.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field.
- At least five years of related sales experience required.
Benefits
- Compensation to consist of a Base Salary plus Sales Commission. The reasonably expected Base Salary ranges between $35,000 - $45,000 per year, commensurate with candidate's experience. Sales Commission earnings up to $50,000 per year, dependent on actual sales performance and commission earnings per sales commission plan.
