We are seeking to add a PROJECT MANAGER to our talented team. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day operations of projects to support growth and add to bottom line of the company through increased efficiency, planning, organization, goal setting, communication, and safety. You’ll continually look for process improvements to reduce the cost of operations via technology or other means and will develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure smooth transitions and communication to field personnel. Ronyak Paving promotes safety, team building, and open communication between all levels of management and field personnel.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
· Manage multiple projects from the point of bid/award through close out documents and retainage collection.
· Collaborate with COO, President, and CFO to optimize job performance and exceed original bid expectations.
· Maximize job profitability by way of Change Orders, Force Accounts, and/or Extra Work.
· Assist in the Bidding Process: entering bids, reviewing with team, etc.
· Provide consistent communication with owners, engineers, inspectors, sub/general contractors, management, PMs/superintendents, shop, and foremen.
· Ensure prompt and accurate completion of the Daily and Master Schedule to ensure projects are set up correctly and completed on/before project's completion date.
· Ensure Pay Apps and Invoicing are performed on a timely and accurate basis.
· Attend all training provided by the company to improve knowledge of new technology, systems, and equipment.
· Use HCSS for timely verification of timecards to include proper notes, hours for employees and equipment, quantities, units, etc.
· Perform a minimum of one Project Safety Audit / Week per project.
· Ensure Foreman are completing timecards, Daily Huddles, and Tool Box Talks on time.
· Submit Accident Reports as necessary on projects, as well as communicate any accidents HR.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
· General understanding of the construction industry; specifically asphalt milling, paving, and other work types associated with road work in Northeast Ohio.
· Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Project, etc.). Prior knowledge or ability to learn HeavyBid, HeavyJob, E360, HCSS Safety, Concur, Google Chrome, FileCloud, and the Google Drive Suite.
· Ability to understand financial documents, bid and contract documents, and the ODOT book.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
· Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
