Commercial Roofing Foreman

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Supervisor to oversee construction projects and manage on-site operations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial roofing. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of workers, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction workers on-site.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Assign tasks to team members based on their skills and project needs.
• Perform hands-on work as needed,
• Conduct regular inspections of work progress and quality to ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Communicate effectively with project managers and clients regarding project updates and any issues that arise.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Requirements

• MUST be willing to be at the shop early and ready to go out on the road for 6 am.
• Proven experience in construction management or as a Supervisor in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools including hand tools used in roofing trade.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks as needed on-site.
