Lead Roofer

• Lead Roofer
• Responsible for overseeing daily operations at a worksite to ensure the completion of projects in a safe and efficient manner. Motivated and skilled individual, clean-cut, positive attitude, friendly, hard-working, Very labour-intensive work.
• Able to lift heavy items and not afraid of heights
• MUST be able to run a 3-5 man crew
• MUST be willing to travel around throughout the BAY AREA
• MUST have a TRUCK
• MUST have knowledge of placing orders as needed for materials
• MUST be bilingual (English/Spanish)
• MUST be able to work Monday-Friday with an occasional Saturday
• MUST have knowledge of how to use power tools
• MUST know how read a measuring tape
• MUST Have strong work ethics

Responsibilities:

• Run a 3-5 man crew
• We are looking for experienced roofers for installing comp, shingle, TPO, and tile roofs. Removal of shake, composition, built-up, tile, plywood, and skip-sheeting.
• Experience in tile, carpentry, single ply, T.P.O., and composition shingles preferred.
• Inspecting the structure of roofs to determine the best course of action.
• Measuring and cutting materials to ensure that they fit securely around vents, gutters, chimneys, and walls.
• Smoothing out rough spots on roofs to prepare the surface for new shingles or waterproofing.
• Safely setting up ladders, scaffolding, and hoisting equipment as required.
• You should have attention to detail and the ability to provide excellent customer service. Take pride in your work

Job Skills & Qualifications Required:

• At least 18 years old
• Able to work in the United States
• Have own transportation Truck
• Speak English / Spanish
• Roofing experience 2 or more years
• read a measuring tape
• knowledge of how to use power tools

Preferred:

• Knowledge of different types of roofing systems
• Knowledge of building ordinances and codes
