Responsibilities:
- Perform estimates for roof replacement with intention of obtaining the sale
- Build rapport & trust with clients
- Build & maintain relationships with various professional partners for networking purposes
- Ensure ALL missed calls/messages are returned the same day - prompt customer follow-up
- Convert leads to prospects via the estimate provided to the client
- Company-provided leads will be provided based on performance and as available
- Enter relevant lead information into CRM, including notes & ensure the appropriate people are tagged
- Research specialty items & source prior to estimate
- Provide roofing, color, style & payment options to the prospect
- Ensure that the customer has an exceptional customer experience
- Notify Management of any issues or concerns communicated to you by customers or that are identified by other means
- Prepare postcards & letters as assigned for mailing campaign (marketing)
- Execute marketing strategies set forth by team lead & Director of Sales; develop your own strategies & partner with team lead for approval
- Jurisdiction permit requirements & understanding
- Prepare & execute daily sales plan
- Grow Market Share; Maximize Territory Performance
- Ongoing education on ALL roofing systems, installation requirements, current trends, color & style options to stay up to date on current market and industry trends as well as product availability
- Stay current on materials pricing & availability due to constantly changing market conditions
- Accurate, clear & concise completion of Contract Details; Legal Documents
- Develop a process and routine of your own that will best work for your work style & meets the SOPs
- Lead weekly meetings and other scheduled meetings
- At least 2 years of Sales management experience in any field; construction, or industrial sales. Must be a great motivator & leader
- Must be professional, able to network & love conversation
- Excellent customer service skills with a desire to ensure customer satisfaction
- Excellent grammar (verbal and written) & mathematics skills
- Strong negotiation skills with a tenacious drive to sell
- Proven Accuracy & Strong emphasis on safety
- Sales tracking and analyzation skills
- Competitive desire to be your best; continued improvement where needed
- Physically climbing ladders & walking roofs daily; confined spaces in attics as required
- Ability to learn and utilize a CRM; manage and monitor jobs
- Must have intermediate computer/technological skills
- Ability to work with others including interdepartmentally; team oriented
- Strong work ethic, dependable, organized, detail oriented, and positive attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general emailing
- Ability to self-manage & work independently with minimal supervision
