Operations Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager, preferably with roofing or construction knowledge, to oversee the operational processes at this location. The ideal candidate will be responsible coordinating material, crews and instillation for sold jobs. They will need to communicate with customers, salespeople and crews to ensure a smooth transition until the job is closed and collected in full. Will need to maintain the office appearance. Candidate should be confident leading in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily operations to ensure a smooth facilitation of job scope.
• Order material, coordinate crew, schedule job and communicate pertinent dates with customers.
• Supervise staff and crews, providing guidance and creating a productive work environment.
• Pull permits when necessary.
• Maintain, grow and manage the labor crews, including payroll.
• Take ownership when problems arise and use critical thinking to find a solution.
• Coordinate small repairs with repair crew.
• Supplement insurance claims for salespeople.
• track and manage truck fleet.

Experience

• Experience in an operations management role or similar capacity.
• Demonstrated knowledge and willingness to learn roofing and construction processes.
• Supervisory skills with the ability to use critical thinking to problem solve.
• Proficient in managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Sales administration: 1 year (Preferred)
