Job Responsibilities:
- Performing service calls, repairs, and maintenance in accordance with job specifications and safety requirements including small repairs of low-sloped roof systems such as TPO, PVC, BUR, Mold Process, EPDM, and grease containment (At least 3 years of commercial roofing experience is required.)
- Ensuring quality craftsmanship and articulate communication with clients
- Completing all reporting documents via tablet and/or smartphone
- Operating a Leister welder
- Performing work in accordance with the scope of work job specifications, warranty specifications, safety guidelines, and quality standards
- Making recommendations to RoofingSource’s management for constant improvement of internal processes
Job Requirements:
- Possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Traveling throughout the following states will be required Monday - Friday and occasionally on the weekend (New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut)
- Communicating articulately (written and oral)
- Working effectively with technology (i.e., smartphone and/or tablets)
- Performing essential roofing job activities: heavy lifting (50 lbs), twisting, bending, use of both hands and arms, kneeling, squatting, standing and/or walking for long periods, and climbing ladders and/or scaffolding
- Working in the heat and sub-zero weather
Compensation and Benefits:
A Commercial Roofing Field Specialist’s industry competitive wage varies depending on a candidate's region and professional experience with the opportunity for short-term increases based on performance benchmarks. The starting rate range for a Field Specialist position is $25 - $38/hour based on the candidate's experience and a satisfactory skills assessment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position where overtime is required. RoofingSource is a non-union company where employees work all year round.
