Job Summary:
Roofs by Nicholas is seeking a dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented Roofing Inspector to join our team. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working outside, is highly organized, communicates well with homeowners and crews, and wants to grow with a leading local roofing company.
As a Roofing Inspector, you'll play a crucial role in our day-to-day operations. You will perform roof inspections, complete minor roof repairs & warranty work, take job documentation photos, meet with clients, support production crews, and help ensure quality control from start to finish. You'll be the eyes and ears on-site, ensuring that every job is done right the first time.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspections & Documentation
- Perform accurate and thorough roof inspections on residential and commercial properties.
- Use a ladder to access roofs safely and efficiently.
- Take clear, high-quality photos documenting roof condition, damages, and installation progress.
- Upload and organize all photos, inspection notes, and documentation in Jobber or assigned platforms.
Client Communication & Appointments
- Meet with homeowners during scheduled appointments to review inspection findings and set expectations.
- Assist the sales and adjuster teams with documentation and onsite walkthroughs as needed.
- Represent Roofs by Nicholas professionally and maintain excellent customer service standards at all times.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Roofing, construction, or inspection experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate).
- Comfortable working at heights and using ladders.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently in the field.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Full-Time: Monday to Friday (occasional weekends or evenings may be required).
- Pay: Competitive Hourly / Salary
