Position Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated and experienced solar technicians to help us continue our rapid growth while maintaining an excellent reputation in our community. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar energy and battery backup systems under the guidance of licensed electricians.
- Complete projects in accordance with established policies, procedures, time frames, and budgets while ensuring high-quality standards and crew safety.
- Assemble solar array racking, seal roof penetrations, and install related equipment.
- Support groundwork for solar installations, including connections to the Main Service Panel (MSP).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational issues.
- Maintain professional communication with customers, addressing questions and concerns.
- Document job details accurately and comply with all safety protocols.
- Participate in ongoing training and career growth opportunities to progress to higher technician roles.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds and work in confined or elevated spaces.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Must be at least 21 years old with a clean driving record.
- Have at least 2 years of experience installing PV systems
- Ability to commission and diagnose issues with Enphase and SolarEdge systems
Work Environment:
- Outdoor work, including rooftops and attics, in various weather conditions.
- Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing.
- Exposure to high places and potentially hazardous equipment.
Compensation and Benefits:
