Position Overview:
As a Warehouse Attendant at Roofsimple, you will play a key role in our day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, able to handle heavy lifting, and have experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You’ll be responsible for organizing and maintaining inventory, operating a forklift, and ensuring the efficient flow of materials. This role requires someone who can thrive in an active, early-start environment and is ready to contribute to the success of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and organize warehouse inventory
- Load and unload materials, with the ability to regularly move up to 130lbs.
- Operate a forklift to move products and materials safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of orders
- Ensure all shipments are processed accurately and timely
- Perform regular inventory checks to ensure product availability
- Follow safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe work environment
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including OSHA standards
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve operational goals
Qualifications:
- Forklift experience is required (certification preferred)
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Willing to start work as early as 5:00 AM
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Clean driving record is essential
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and a team player
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not required
