Role Description
We're seeking a creative and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Intern to build and grow our online presence, particularly with our social media. As our Digital Marketing Intern, you will be responsible for building a strong brand identity for RoomieHub, engaging with our target audience, and developing and executing our social media strategy. You will play a key role in driving app downloads, increasing user engagement, and fostering a vibrant community around our platform.
Job Type
This internship is part-time, hybrid, and unpaid. Excellent for students pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Social Media Strategy: Create and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with our marketing goals and target audience (students, young professionals, individuals sharing living spaces).
- Content Creation and Management: Develop engaging and relevant content for various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, and others), including text posts, images, videos, and stories.
- Community Engagement: Actively engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner. Foster a positive and supportive online community.
- Platform Management: Maintain and optimize social media profiles, ensuring consistency in branding and messaging. Stay up-to-date on platform best practices and algorithm changes.
- Social Listening and Trend Monitoring: Monitor social media trends, competitor activity, and relevant industry conversations to identify opportunities and inform content strategy.
- Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze key social media metrics (reach, engagement, website traffic, follower growth) to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and provide regular reports with actionable insights.
- Paid Social Media Campaigns: Plan, execute, and manage paid social media campaigns to reach specific target audiences and achieve marketing objectives (e.g., app downloads, brand awareness).
- Stay Updated: Continuously learn and stay informed about the latest social media trends, tools, and technologies.
