Job Summary :
Under direction, this individual is responsible for preparing and serving large quantities of food under sanitary conditions from written menus / directions while maintaining a high standard of quality, portion control and timeliness.
Essential Job Functions :
- Prepares and properly cooks food in large quantities according to furnished production schedules and recipes.
- Stores food and defrosts meats according to prescribed sanitation techniques.
- Assures foodstuffs are available in sufficient quantities in advance.
- Assists in the preparation of food for special events and recreational events.
Other Job Duties :
- Attends required in service training.
- Maintains logs and completes required checklists as well as other related paperwork.
- Does related work as required.
