Job Description :

• Utilize the full scope of nursing judgment and abilities in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital and Rural Health Clinic.
• Manage multiple chronic conditions of long-term care residents.
• Provide acute care for intermittent patient admissions like pneumonia, COPD exacerbations, and diabetes exacerbations.
• Be prepared to provide ER care as needed.
• Assist the night RN with any patient care tasks if they are occupied elsewhere.
• Work environment does not include surgery or OB services.
• Ensure you have appropriate winter attire for weather conditions as personal transportation is necessary due to lack of public transit options.
• Adherence to facility protocols and procedures is required.
• Agency representatives must complete and return all relevant agreements prior to the commencement of the role.
