Position Summary
Full-time non-tenure track instructor to teach graduate-level Creative Writing courses for the MFA program with a particular emphasis on Fiction and Creative Non-Fiction preferred. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience leading writing workshops and the ability to teach advanced literature topics courses with a focus on craft.
This position will have immediate responsibility for oversight and further curricular development of the program. Candidates for this position must be willing and able to teach the equivalent of four courses per semester in Creative Writing and/or English at the graduate and undergraduate levels; advise graduate students and recruit for the incoming cohort; develop the course schedule for upcoming semesters in collaboration with the Chair of Humanities; and direct thesis projects in collaboration with other full- and part-time faculty. The NTT Instructor will be a full participant in the Literature and Languages Program and the Department of Humanities, with a contributing role at the program and departmental levels.

The salary range for this position is $55,000-$57,000
