Job Description:
UnityPoint - Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, IA is seeking skilled and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 13-week travel assignment. This is an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional perioperative care in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Assignment Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days, 4x10-hour shifts
Number of Positions Available: 2
Compensation:
- Gross Weekly Pay: $2,704.00
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and specialized nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment in compliance with facility protocols.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless procedures.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to any changes in condition during surgery.
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Deliver patient and family education regarding postoperative care.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent OR nursing experience.
- Licensure: Active RN license valid in Iowa.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS required.
- Skills: Strong organizational, critical thinking, and teamwork abilities.
