We’re looking for a Creative Director who can lead our creative team and directly contribute to the design work for our clients, driving both the vision and execution of creative concepts. You’ll work and collaborate closely across multiple teams and bring a passion for storytelling, customer experience & experimentation.

Job Description :

We’re seeking a dynamic, hands-on Creative Director to lead our talented team of designers and copywriters. This individual will shape and guide the creative direction of the agency as well as create outstanding graphic design work for clients. The ideal candidate has a blend of leadership skills, creative vision, and design expertise. They will work closely across teams to align on projects and provide cohesive storytelling and results for our clients. This role also involves client-facing responsibilities, where the candidate will present creative concepts, articulate design choices, and build strong client relationships.

What you’ll do

Leadership :

Guide creative development for the Root Beta brand and all clients, ensuring alignment with brand standards and business objectives.
Guide the creative team through the entire design process, from ideation to execution.
Lead and mentor a team of designers and copywriters, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. Conduct regular team check-ins, provide feedback, and facilitate professional growth within the creative team.
Participate in strategic planning sessions to help shape project scopes and deliverables from a creative perspective.
Contribute to content strategies to ensure consistency across all channels and mediums.

Creative & Design Work :

Develop compelling graphic design work for a range of client needs, including digital and print materials, social media content, presentations, and more.

Ensure all creative work aligns with brand standards and delivers on business objectives.

Review, refine, and approve creative deliverables to maintain high standards of quality and consistency.

Client Collaboration & Presentations :

Serve as a client-facing representative, presenting creative concepts, campaign ideas, and design work to clients in a professional and engaging manner.

Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, brand, and project requirements.

Translate client feedback into actionable design revisions while maintaining the integrity of the original creative concept.

Who you are

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field

7 years of experience in graphic design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (e.g., Art Director, Creative Director).

Proven experience leading a creative team and mentoring designers and copywriters

Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including digital, print, and branding projects

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and ideas to clients and internal teams

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools

Experience working in an agency setting; working with clients in agriculture is a plus

Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

A collaborative mindset and a willingness to work closely with various departments to drive results
