Tank Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
The Tank Maintenance Technician is responsible for the inspection, repair, and maintenance of various types of tanks used in industrial, commercial, or residential settings. The Tank Maintenance Technician plays a crucial part in ensuring the safe and efficient operations of tanks and possesses knowledge of tank systems, materials, and relevant safety regulations to perform their duties effectively. The Tank Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Tank Maintenance Manager.
Tank Maintenance Technician duties will include, but are not limited to:
Prepping & maintaining fuel tanks of all sizes
High-pressure power washing, sand blasting, priming, painting
Assembling of tanks per customer request using build sheets
Maintaining site inventories of all fluids, tanks, pumps, and all other parts Routine shop and grounds cleanliness and maintenance
Operates lift and conduct repairs at various customer locations
Works with 12 volt and 110 volt pumps
Rotate on call duty for weekends and holidays Experience/Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Welding and fabrication skills with ability to perform basic metal work
Experience in tank inspection and maintenance is highly
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Valid Driver’s License
Hours: The Tank Maintenance Technician is a full-time position and works 40 hours per week
Salary/Income:
The Tank Maintenance Technician is a non-exempt, hourly position
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
