Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail oriented Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all warehouse processes run efficiently and safely, including inventory control, staffing, training, and maintaining optimal warehouse condiditons. The Warehouse Supervisor will play a key role in ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining product accuracy, food safety traceability, and leading a team to meet organizational goals. Key Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Manage the complete order fulfillment process, including sales order printing, picking, booking freight, and loading trucks, ensuring high accuracy and timely shipments.
- Inventory Management: Maintain a well organized warehouse, using FIFO inventory methods to ensure products are rotated properly. Lead cycle counts on a bi-weeky basis to ensure inventory accuracy and traceability.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, motivate and train a growing warehouse staff, ensuring everyone follows safety prootocols and works efficiently, delegating responsibilities based on scheduling analystics and metrics.
- Warehouse Organization: Ensure the warwehouse is maintained in a food-safe clean condition, adhering to an organzied floor plan and safe operational procedures.
- Logistics Coordination: Support route delivery product needs by staging items for efficient loading and deliver. Oversee logistics to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers or other departments.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while maintaining a clean and organzied warehouse environment.
- Lost Code Traceability: Ensure accurate lot code traceability for all inbound and outbound consumable products, maintaining precise records for compliance and operationnal efficiency.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed reports on inventory levels, orders, and warehouse activities for manangement review, ensuring accurate documentation for traceability.
- Continuous Improvement: Use performance meterics and analytics to identify areas for improvement in warehouse operations, implementing strategies to imcrease efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall productivity.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Lead or in a similiar supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Proficient in using warehouse management software (WMS) and MS Office.
- Strong leadership, team management, and delegation skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skill.
- Knowledge of safety protocols, GMP food safety standards, and regulations in warehouse environments.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectivly across departments.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, or related field, preferred.
Working Condiditons:
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Ability to lift and cary up to 50 lbs.
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required depending on operational needs.
