Job Description

Provide assistance to the Director of Marketing with administrative tasks that support marketing and business development strategies, on responsibilities such as, but not limited to :

Engage daily with guests via social media and email correspondence, responding to questions, comments, and concerns, providing solutions in a timely and efficient manner, and following up with internal team when / where necessary;
Assist with content calendar to help create blog posts and gather content for websites, social media, and e-newsletters, drafting and deploying email newsletters while maintaining marketing database;
Perform website content updates;
Post and interact on community boards, calendar sites, Facebook groups, Instagram and TikTok pages.
Ensure overall brand consistency and messaging by maintaining collateral and other sales / display material for each restaurant and its promotions, keeping an accurate inventory of material, repurchasing as directed;
Assist in maintaining annual budget / s, including working with Unit Accountants on submission of invoices and follow-up with outside vendors where necessary;
Help maintain ad schedule;
Account maintenance of Yelp, Google My Business, TripAdvisor, etc.;
Help research new markets, data, and industry trends as directed using Placer Ai and other sources;
Create marketing reports and meeting recaps with the assistance of AI;
Assist with special projects as necessary.
Assist in the management of all community donation requests - from receipt of request through tracking and evaluation of donation ROI; compose donation letters and prepare for local staff to send.

Requirements

Creativity, Strong grammar, proofreading, writing, and editing skills;

Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom;

Skilled in video editing with Final Cut, Premiere or Capcut;

Excellent organization skills and ability to be flexible with changing priorities, Asana experience a plus;

Familiarity with CRM;

Reliable and capable of working independently or following specific directives;

Positive attitude and work ethic;

Ability to work well under pressure with the ability to self-manage timelines and deadlines;

Excellent multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail and follow-through;

Good judgment and strong sense of integrity;

Collaborative and creative;

An over communicator;

Proficiency in MS Office Suite;

Experience with MyEmma, or other email client, as well as working knowledge of WordPress;

Interest in photography or videography with editing skills a plus;

Must love to learn new technology with an open mind in an ever-evolving digital world;

Passion and love for the food and hospitality industry.

Strong research and information gathering skills

Education

Recent graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related degree program. Or 2 years in a similar role.

Working Conditions / Compensation

M-F, some weekends or evenings;

Some travel as needed; must have clean license and reliable transportation;

Environment : Office environment, as well as restaurants and shows / events;

Compensation : Hourly $19 - $24
