We’ve just opened the doors to Rumba, our newest concept in Metairie, LA—a vibrant, energetic space where service is the soul of the experience. We’re now searching for a Service Manager who doesn't just understand hospitality but embodies it.
This role is for a true service expert—someone who can build, teach, and inspire a team to deliver consistently unforgettable guest experiences. You’re not just a manager; you’re the heartbeat of the dining room, the mentor who shapes culture, and the leader who knows that hospitality starts from within.
What You’ll Do
Lead with Hospitality
- Be a daily presence on the floor, setting the tone for warmth, professionalism, and positive energy.
- Coach the FOH team on service standards through modeling and hands-on development.
- Inspire a sense of pride, purpose, and ownership among team members—service excellence becomes second nature under your leadership.
Train, Teach, and Elevate
- Lead orientations and training programs for new hires, ensuring a polished and confident team from day one.
- Deliver ongoing training sessions and pre-shift meetings with energy and impact.
- Use RHG’s proven service standards and training materials as your guide—delivering them with clarity, consistency, and the energy that brings them to life on the floor.
Build a Team, Build a Culture
- Partner with the GM and recruitment team to attract and hire outstanding service talent.
- Foster a team culture rooted in humility, collaboration, and mutual respect.
- Offer thoughtful, consistent coaching to help team members grow professionally and personally.
Own the Guest Experience
- Set the bar high for hospitality—warm welcomes, genuine interactions, and thoughtful touches are the norm, not the exception.
- Handle guest concerns with empathy, professionalism, and speed.
- Always have your finger on the pulse of the dining room, stepping in to elevate service when needed.
What We’re Looking For
- 2 years of experience in a high-touch, full-service restaurant leadership role.
- A true people person—charismatic, confident, approachable, and positive.
- A proven coach and motivator who thrives on lifting others up.
- Deep understanding of what great service looks, sounds, and feels like.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Flexible, humble, and excited to be part of something new and growing.
