Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Summer Teacher to join our team for an engaging and rewarding summer experience. You will be responsible for creating a safe, fun, and educational environment for students. You will lead activities, provide guidance, and foster a sense of community among students while promoting personal growth and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety of students during all activities.
- Plan and lead engaging activities that promote creativity, teamwork, and skill development.
- Foster positive relationships with children by providing support and encouragement.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and fellow staff members.
- Implement behavior management strategies to address any issues that arise.
- Assist in the development of weekly curriculum that align with their interests and abilities.
- Provide first aid as necessary and ensure all health protocols are followed.
Skills
Ideal candidates will possess a combination of the following skills:
- Knowledge of childhood development principles to support student growth.
- Experience in theater or performing arts to enhance creative programming.
- Background in special education to accommodate diverse learning needs.
- Childcare or daycare experience to ensure effective supervision and care.
- Experience working with students in various capacities to foster engagement.
- First aid certification to handle emergencies effectively.
- Strong behavior management skills to maintain a positive atmosphere.
- Follow all State Regulations and Standards set by the Allstars program.
