Roots and Wings School is expanding and hiring an exceptional NH Certified Teacher!
As a result of our overwhelming success providing our students with a top-tiered, nature-based, heart-centered approach to learning that provides an environment in which our students thrive in all areas of child development while mastering skills and building a solid educational foundation, we need an additional NH Certified Lead Teacher!!
The enthusiastic, nurturing, and passionate full-time Lead Teacher will thrive in our community, while embracing purposefully small class sizes, individualizing curriculum, and infusing children in nature providing a vital role in the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of each child. Connecting home, school, and community are a high priority of Roots and Wings School and the Lead Teacher will play an important role in building and maintaining those relationships.

- Interact with families and children to assist in the transition between home to school
- Collaborate with colleagues to create class plans, activities, and school-wide themes
- Work as part of a team to develop child-led curriculum
- Supervise associate and assistant teachers also working in the classroom
- Effectively communicate with colleagues, families, and students
- Maintains an organized classroom and materials
- Complies with state and federal rules and regulations

Experience preferred. Willing to provide mentorship and guidance for newly certified teachers.
First aid and CPR training are required, but can be completed upon hire.
Mandatory 18 hours of professional development including health and safety required annually, per state licensing regulations.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
