Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all supplies are stocked and readily available.
- Engage with customers, providing friendly and attentive service while taking drink orders.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, processing payments and providing change as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders during events or busy periods.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar for special events or banquets.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while serving drinks.
- Stay informed about new products, trends, and techniques in the bartending industry.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency for accurate transaction processing.
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and mixology techniques is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers and team members.
