Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a vibrant restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and efficient seating arrangements. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with a pleasant dining experience.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements using the Aloha POS system or similar software.
• Maintain an organized waitlist during busy periods and communicate wait times to guests.
• Assist with guest inquiries, providing information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Uphold cleanliness and organization at the host stand and dining area.
• Handle phone calls with professionalism, assisting guests with reservations or inquiries.
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and effectively.

Experience

• Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
• A genuine desire to help others and enhance their dining experience.

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
