Summary :
The IHFR Clinical Supervisor position is someone passionate about being a clinical supervisor for our mental health services and community-based programs, including clinical therapy. This position is seeking someone looking for variety in their work, from supervising clinical trainee therapists and interns to completing diagnostic assessments for treatment clients and overseeing innovative mental health programs. Responsibilities include individual and group clinical supervision, cultivating, supporting, and leading a strong clinical team. The clinical supervisor oversees clinical trainee therapists, clinical interns.
The IHFR Clinical Supervisor will support anti-oppressive / anti-racist practice, and trauma-responsive practice, through their administrative and operations support of program staff working on site and in community to address socioeconomic and health disparity. Experience and interest in working with clients with a range of identities including age, developmental and acquired disabilities, religion, spirituality, ethnicity, race, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, relationship structure, indigenous heritage, national origin, immigration status, and gender is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Provide individual and group clinical supervision, leadership, and administrative supervision for therapists on the In-Home Family Recovery Team.
- Provide weekly program supervision to Family Support Specialists on the In-Home Family Recovery Team.
- Provide licensure supervision to licensure candidates, maintain accurate and timely clinical records, correspondence, and reports.
- Cultivate staff engagement and lead regularly scheduled team meetings that foster group collaboration.
- Promote and model frequent feedback, performance development coaching, and holding staff accountable for meeting performance expectations.
- Make case assignments and oversee workloads and workflow.
- Participate in both weekly and monthly meetings with Hennepin County staff, supervisors, and stakeholders.
- Participate in the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and training of new staff.
- With support from program staff, define clear goals and measures of program success, collect and analyze data, evaluate outcomes, and develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Lead department staff in implementing the RWC strategic plan.
- Identify and cultivate opportunities for sustainability and innovative growth through enhanced, new or expanded programs.
- Serve as a liaison to other agencies and community groups helping to cultivate RWC as a top-of-mind, trusted, top-quality service provider; thought leader; and strategic partner.
- Assess client needs and goals, develop a treatment approach, and provide short- and long-term psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families.
- Possibly offer training / presentations to RWC and the community with the Founder or Clinical Director.
- Develop, recommend, and implement policies and procedures ensuring compliance with human resource rules, state statute, and assessment and case management best practice and standards.
- Work with team to develop team goals, performance results and plan for implementation.
- Serve as program lead, subject matter expert, and ensure program compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
- Facilitate continuous process improvement of systems and programs by determining needs and improvements, developing plans, developing policies, procedures, and evaluating outcomes for services.
- Engage in regular 1 : 1's with Clinical Director.
- Promote and maintain a work environment where all participants and staff are treated respectfully.
