SUMMARY OF ROLE
The Recruiter/HR Generalist will support the Human Resource department in a hybrid role, assisting the Lead Recruiter, HR Manager, and HR Generalist with a variety of HR and recruiting tasks as needed.
The role is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting (end-to-end recruitment) for Light Industrial, Engineering, and Business Operations positions. This candidate must have a strong sourcing strategy to attract a diverse and high-quality candidate pool, assess candidates' qualifications through a combination of behavioral and competency-based interviews, and ensure an efficient recruitment process by monitoring requisition status.
The selected candidate will be a member of p HR team and will report directly to the Division HR Manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Recruitment (50%)
• Review job details and prepare job postings in coordination with hiring managers; determine recruitment strategies, including pre-screening questions and advertising channels to ensure a diverse applicant pool.
• Source and recruit candidates using databases, social media, networking, and other online tools.
• Conduct initial screenings and phone interviews to assess candidate suitability.
• Lead interviews using reliable recruiting and selection tools.
• Act as a primary point of contact, building strong relationships with candidates throughout the selection process.
• Develop and maintain a talent pipeline, particularly for frequently filled positions and hard-to-fill locations.
• Provide consultation and training to hiring managers on recruitment processes and effective interviewing techniques.
• Lead initiatives related to Affirmative Action and Diversity & Inclusion.
HR Generalist (50%)
• Oversee employee onboarding and assist in organizing training and development initiatives.
• Support employees in various HR-related matters, including leaves, compensation, and resolving any issues that arise.
• Collect and analyze HR data, such as time-to-hire and employee turnover rates, to derive useful HR metrics.
• Maintain the organization's structure by updating job requirements and descriptions for all positions.
• Update and maintain US HR policies and standard operating procedures.
• Perform additional HR generalist duties as needed and assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree required, with preferred degrees in Human Resources and/or Business Management. At least three (3) years of relevant work experience, or a Master’s degree and one (1) year of relevant work experience.
• Experience working as an HR professional within a manufacturing setting is preferred.
• 3 years’ experience in full life-cycle recruiting.
• Prior experience in applying HR principles effectively.
Salary : $30 - $32
