Job DetailsThe Cardiac EP Tech is responsible for assisting with all procedures performed in the EP.Must be competent in the use of the EP monitoring/stimulation system; Intra cardiac Echo and 3D mapping systems.Must demonstrate a high degree of understanding of the interpretation of cardiac arrhythmias and all invasive EP procedures.
Job RequirementsIf Radiology Technician, ARRT cert required; If Registered Nurse, must have RN license in the state of South Carolina or hold a current compact/multi-state license as a RN in a recognized NCSBN Compact State.BLS (AHA) required.RCIS or RCES credential preferred.
Unit Specific InformationAssists with materials management to include ordering of supplies as needed for the EP lab.
Additional DetailsDemonstrates a high degree of understanding of the interpretation of cardiac arrhythmia’s, patient parameters, and the management of cardiac complications.Frequent standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping. Frequent lifting/moving patients.
