What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Operator position at Roper Staffing?
Construction Company in Early Branch, SC looking for Heavy Equipment Operators.
Weekly compensation available if driving a distance.
Responsibilities:
- To operate equipment safely, and efficiently while adhering to all company policies and MSHA/OSHA regulations, while meeting all production goals.
- Operate all heavy equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
- Clean heavy equipment as scheduled and/or required
- Ensure heavy equipment is safely and securely stored
- Participate in routine maintenance to include but not limited to greasing and fueling equipment daily
- Practice workplace safety
- General daily preventative equipment maintenance
- Light labor work as needed
Heavy Equipment for this Position:
- Excavator (GPS Experience)
- Bulldozer (GPS Experience)
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license with less than (3) moving violations in (3) years
- Must be able to pass drug / alcohol screenings
- Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs.
- Must be able to pass a Physical
