We are so excited to announce that we are hiring for an exciting BRAND NEW restaurant in Allentown, PA.
Rosa Blanca, a new Cuban Rum bar and all day cafe by Celebrity Chef Jose Garces.
José Garces, James Beard Award-winner, Iron Chef, entrepreneur, food innovator, and restauranteur, will open his concept Rosa Blanca in downtown Allentown this March. The Cuban café and rum bar will be on the ground floor of The Nines apartment building at 950 Hamilton St. Rosa Blanca will flow from a breezy café offering classic Cuban coffee and pastries by day to a tropical rum bar serving mixed drinks by night. The lunch and dinner menu will offer hearty Cuban specialties and comfort food, including soups, salads, empanadas, sandwiches, and entrees, all served with Garces’ signature Latin-style hospitality. Rosa Blanca’s interior will feature Art Deco style, lush greenery, and an emphasis on glamour to produce Cuba’s Golden Age aesthetic in the heart of Allentown’s Downtown West neighborhood.
We are looking for front of house staff members baristas and a barista lead who are energetic, responsible and have a passion for the restaurant industry. The ideal candidate has prior experience preparing a variety of food items, is well-versed in customer service skills and is able to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced restaurant.
